Set amongst a platform of enormous Granite boulders, Diamondvale Lodge is perfectly situated to soak up the natural wonders of the Granite Belt region. Located less than 2kms from the city centre the "Lodge" overlooks the "Heritage Trail" and Quart Pot Creek. For more images see the photo gallery. Guests can walk from the Lodge to town in under 30 minutes following the path along the meandering waterway. Visitors can be excused for thinking they are in the middle of a National Park with the silence of the surrounds, a welcome relief for any traveller.

The Lodge is a spacious, chalet-style home with magnificent raked ceilings atop the large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. A generous wood fire, set on granite rock collected from the immediate surrounds, warms the entire area where guests can watch the large LCD screen whilst they soak up the ambience from the flickering flames.

The entertaining deck overlooks the creek to the rear of the property. Equipped with a large BBQ this is the perfect place to gather with your friends.

A classic take on "old meets new" Diamondvale Lodge is furnished with antiques and chunky iron bark furniture to retain the vital link with the original homestead and the four other Heritage-Style Cottages.

1890's lead light feature windows filter light onto the formal dining area giving this new house a very rustic feel. All modern conveniences are supplied for the comfort of the guests, including laundry facilities and a kitchen complete with dishwasher.

Diamondvale Lodge is not suited to small children (children under 5). For a child-friendly holiday, have a look at the cottages located on the other side of the creek.
