The Baby Calf

This year on Valentines Day, our only Murray Grey cow, Big Mumma had her gorgeous little calf, we haven't been close enough yet to determine the gender of our new friend but we will definetly keep you updated.

Shadow has a new friend! At the end of February, we adopted Cara, a beautiful Staffy x who has adapted to her new 'easy going' lifestyle quite easily. The pictures above were taken by a guest who discovered Cara asleep on their verandah soaking up the morning sun. Definately a "dog's life!"

For those of you who are interested, Cara is an Italian term of endearment. Loosely translated, it means 'darling'.
