Frequently Asked Questions
How close to town are you located?
We are located 2.6km (including our 600 metre driveway) from the Post Office in the centre of Stanthorpe township, which takes 3 minutes to drive. Surrounded by 30 acres of bushland, many guests are surprised just how close yet remote they feel from town.
Is breakfast included in the rate?
Breakfast is an optional extra you can add to your stay. As the cottages have self contained kitchens and the centre of town is only 3 minutes drive away, we have decided to give guests the option to choose their preferred breakfast option. Should you decide at anytime during your stay to order a freshly hot cooked breakfast served to your cottage door, you can let us know when you are here. Check out our menu here.
Are you pet friendly?
Due to our bushland location and free roaming wildlife, the presence of foreign animals impacts the balance of nature. Even though we are animal lovers and have our own farm animals, we do not allow guests to bring their pets. We have also found that guests that do come to the region with their pets are limited in where they can go, as our National Parks and some attractions do not allow pets.
Do all your cottages have fireplaces?
Yes, all our cottages and the lodge have slow wood burning combustion fireplaces which are easy to use and keep your cottage toasty warm throughout the day and night.
Do you provide wood for the fire?
Yes, we provide sufficient wood for the duration of your stay.
Can I have my wedding at Diamondvale?

We can host approximately 20 people at once, as we have limited facilities. Please visit our Groups & Special Occasions page for further details or contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Can I bring my motorhome/caravan or camp by the creek?
Diamondvale is a premium and luxurious accommodation offering on the Granite Belt. We are not licensed for, nor allow camping, caravans or motorhomes on the property.
Unfortunately we must say no, we do not allow outside visitors to the property.
